Screwball? No, Screwloose
An entertaining, but not great, comedy which would have been much better if it had been 10 minutes shorter. John Hubbard plays another iteration of the hyperactive male lead - if you like that sort of character, you'll like the film more than I did. Otherwise a great cast - Carole Landis was a beautiful woman and is very good here. Other principals include Adolphe Menjou, William Gargan, Mary Astor, Joyce Compton, Donald Meek and Marjorie Main - all of whom turned in fine performances, as did the other supporting cast members, including the Great Dane and the baby bear.
